Cisolok is the only natural geyser hot spring in Indonesia, set along a boulder-strewn river near the surf coast at Pelabuhan Ratu within the Ciletuh-Palabuhanratu UNESCO Global Geopark. High-pressure geothermal water spurts several metres into the air from vents in the riverbed, then cools as it cascades into the river, creating warm natural pools where visitors can sit. The setting mixes oceanic air, rushing river sounds, and volcanic mineral steam.
